Practical upskilling for professionals in globalised workplaces:
Your teams have the expertise. But does it land clearly when it matters most — in meetings, presentations, trade shows, and client conversations?
I help organisations across the DACH region close that gap.

Vertraut von:

When teams work in a second language, something often gets lost. Not through lack of expertise, but through miscommunication, hesitation, or unclear messaging.
The effects are rarely dramatic. They accumulate quietly: a presentation that didn’t land, a negotiation that stalled, a client relationship that never quite clicked.
Over time, these moments have a real impact on reputation, results, and team confidence.
I work directly with HR managers and team leads to identify where the communication gaps are — and design targeted training that addresses them.
As organisations work increasingly in English — across departments, borders, and cultures — the ability to communicate well in high-stakes situations has become a core business capability, not a soft skill.
So, what can participants expect?

Sessions built around real situations from your industry, working with scenarios your teams face on daily basis.
Turn complex ideas into messages that land — simply, directly, and without losing detail that matters.
Read the room. Adjust tone, register, and structure for any audience — from the factory floor to the boardroom.
Speak with credibility and weight. The right words — used at the right moment — change perception in crucial contexts.
A safe space to experiment, make mistakes, and build the muscle memory that holds up when it really counts.
My approach draws on communication science, applied psychology, and years of hands-on experience with international teams — always with a focus on what participants can do differently tomorrow.
Group Workshops
Interactive half-day or full-day sessions designed around real business situations your team faces. Includes role plays, simulations, and practical frameworks that participants can apply from the very next day.
In-Company Training Programmes
A structured series of sessions (typically 2 hours weekly over 6-8 weeks) built around your team’s specific communication challenges.
Delivered on-site at your company’s, with measurable progress at each stage.
1:1 Coaching for Leaders & Senior Managers
Individual coaching for professionals who need targeted support with their own communication performance — whether that’s executive presence, high-stakes presentations, or difficult conversations at senior level.
Custom Programmes
Training designed from scratch around your organisation’s specific needs, industry, and communication context. We define the goals together — I build the programme. Past examples include tourism-specific courses, or business English for engineers.

Not exactly — and the distinction matters. The focus is on communication performance, not grammar or vocabulary drilling. Most professionals in international environments already have workable English. What they’re missing is confidence, structure, and the ability to adapt their message to different audiences. Language naturally improves as a byproduct, but it’s never the primary goal.
Yes, this is actually central to how I work. Rather than off-the-shelf content, programmes can built around your company’s specific context: the industry vocabulary your teams use, the situations they actually face, and the communication challenges that are getting in the way. A sales team at an engineering company needs something very different from a leadership team at a tourism organisation — and the training reflects that.
Training can be delivered as a one-off half-day or full-day workshop, a structured weekly programme over 6–8 weeks, or ongoing 1:1 sessions for senior managers. Custom combinations are also possible. We discuss what makes sense for your team during an initial consultation.
Group sessions typically work best with between 6 and 12 participants: small enough for everyone to get practical feedback, large enough to create realistic interaction scenarios. Larger groups can be accommodated with adjusted formats.
On-site at your company’s premises within the DACH region, or online for 1:1 with managers or individuals.
We can start a 20-minute conversation. Here we discuss your team’s specific challenges, what you’d like to achieve, and whether this training is the right fit. From there I put together a proposal tailored to your needs — no obligation.
Whether you’re looking for a one-off workshop or a long-term training partnership, I’d welcome the conversation. Let’s talk about what your team needs — and whether this is the right fit.
